Introducing Ollie :D

...........our cutie patootie pupster :D

He is a show cocker spaniel and is about 9 weeks old, and we collect him in 4 weeks time :D

Watching him run around with his mum and sister yesterday I think we might be in for some fun for a while with him and Rolo LOL :D

I can't wait :D

My darling hubby hates it (even though he carried it all Sat afternoon because he forgot his granny bag LOL!!!) and thinks I won't use it, but this is exactly what I have been unsuccesfully trying to make :D

A rare sight....

Ok, ok I know they aren't rare butterflies, but they darn tootley too are in my little yard LOL
I bought this plant which is known as a butterfly plant about 5/6 years ago and it has grown verrrryyyy tall!!! But it has never had this many flowers on it!
I went out to the bin this afternoon and it had loads of butterflies, just sitting there, chillin :D
So of course I had to run in and get the camera LOL


Can I just say, its flippin hard to take close up macro photos of flittery butterflies on a windy day :o LOL

and the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down LOL did it not!!!
We postponed and only went on Saturday in the end as Friday was a bit of a washout.
We had to do two runs because we couldn't fit the dog in!!!! LOL it's a good job we are only half an hour away or he was Home Alone..... only kidding :D

Managed the new(ish) tent no probs - in fact it was a doddle,and just got it all set up before it rained:D
Paul returned and we headed off for a little walk...... NEVER AGAIN!!! I thought my heart was going to jump out it was beating so fast LOL when did I get so unfit??? I climb ladders at work nearly every day :o
Saturday evening was nice but was eaten to death by midges, and left the brandy hotchoc a little bit late to start and was scared of waking peeps up with the whistling kettle.... so we had brandy "warm" choc instead :D
Paul had to wake the dog up because he was dreaming, then felt the need to wake me up to let me know it was raining :o what was that about??

Sunday, the heavens opened again, so we left the tent up, took the dog and some stuff home and went back for it when the sun had kindly dried it for us :D

Still happy campers though :D

Marley and me....

Well it was a beautiful day today so we took Rolo for a trip to Ennerdale, one of my fave places as it's so unspoiled :D just a tiny village, a campsite and a beautiful lake and scenery :D
The carpark was quite full today and by full there was aroun 50 cars - it's a hidden gem away from the tourist track so shhhhh don't tell :D
Rolo had a fab time swimming and met a few new friends, the main one being Marley, a one year old retriever - they got on like a house on fire and were so cute runninga round and playing together. Marley isn't a swimmer yet so Rolo swam out for the sticks followed by Marley as far as he could wade then Marley would bring the stick in LOL - kinda like a relay race haha :D


It really made us think wouldn't it be nice to have a friend for Rolo.....hmmm????
There wasn't a single bark or snarl between all four dogs :D

It's been a tough couple of weeks at work...

Been busy trying to get the shop look amazing for the regional store managers meeting - the biggest visit we have me thinks!!!

It meant a lot of hard graft getting the windows dressed in extreme circumstances, and dressing the store!!!

Thought this was a fab way of embellishing them without messing with stamps, overlays etc.. and all the elements I used were free - now we all like freebies LOL.

Orbalicious!!!

Well I don't know if any of you are Most Haunted fans but how amazing is the orb in this pic?? A friend of mine(Debbie) took it at Chatsworth House!! She has loads of other pics and you would think the orbs were tour guides- they are all over the place :o

Well i'm still chocker with cold and getting really fed up now :( This is no way to spend a weeks holiday :(

Was even more fed up when broadband went on the blink - I thought it was just ours but DH discovered it was a regional problem. I had to keep watching all night to see when it was back on LOL. as DH said "what did we do before we got a PC??"

Well good news from work - we passed our KPI this time - they come round and check all the standards throughout the shop and 85% is the pass mark - we got 85% thank goodness!!! the repercussions of an amber or red mark is not good!!

I forgot to mention the other day in the excitement of setting up my blog, the thing that made me decide to start one was here - check out Rhonnas entry on Feb 18th :D Major happy dance for me :D How cool to be featured on my fave designers blog :D
